What is a Seeker? Who or what is seeking? There is a thought appearing in the form of a question, asking something such as: “Who am I?” It’s believed there is a person who is asking this, and that this person is who we are. But isn’t this just a thought? Where is the person that is supposedly contained in it? What is a thought? Where did it come from? What is it made of? What is the source from which any given thought arises?
These questions are not intended to be answered with more thoughts derived from one’s accumulated knowledge, but to direct attention inward, that thought’s source may be found. This does not come in the form of an answer, but in realizing what was sought was none other than it’s very own true nature. It has never been separated from, nor been anything other than That.
To recognize what you are, there’s no need to consult previously formed conclusions about what that might be. Recognize what is present, now, the essence of what you truly are.
