A STORY OF LOVE
You’re looking for your long lost lover whom you feel you’ve been tragically separated from. As one who seeks water in the desert, you seek your love. You look everywhere, traversing land and sea, through the remotest countryside to the crowded city streets. Worn out from seeking, you’ve spent all that you have and are left with nothing to show for it.
Right when you feel you haven’t even the strength for one last breath, you realize your lover has been there all along, gazing at you curiously while you’ve looked right past. It’s as if all that you could see were the various clothes which your lover wears, yet couldn’t perceive it’s your lover who wears them.
But now the search has finally ceased, for you see your lover in all. You look right through the loosely wrapped veil of name and form. No matter where you look, no matter who or what you see, there is your love to meet your glance and caress your senses.
After all this, you laugh in great relief and with tears of joy, for
though disguised before your eyes, there was never a time which your lover had ever left your side.
